Adeeb Abdul Salam is a Blockchain Lead at web3 start-up Root, with a specialized knowledge in EVM chains and smart contracts. He has been involved in the blockchain space since 2020, initially for his MTech project, but soon realized its potential beyond academic grades. As part of the founding team of nftmalayali, Adeeb helped artists onboard web3.0, changing the lives of many people. He has advised many artists, including Malayalam film stars, music producers, and singers like Rima Kallingal, Gowry Lekshmi, among others. Adeeb has a vast experience in building blockchain solutions to problems and features, and implementing them in the backend. He has also led a five-member team to build a privacy-enabled Covid map tracing solution that won an award from IEEE HackX 2020. Additionally, he single-handedly built a registration application for Tathva'17, the techno-management fest at NIT Calicut, that registered 5000+ students. Adeeb's education background includes a Master of Technology - MTech in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, completed in 2021, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Calicut, completed in 2019. He is skilled in blockchain, web3, smart contract, EVM, backend, and NFT. Prior to his current role, Adeeb worked as a Blockchain Advisor at nftmalayali, where he onboarded the first 800+ artists from Kerala to use blockchain for minting & selling NFTs, and as a Senior Executive at Club Mathematica. With 1.87 years of relevant experience, Adeeb is a highly skilled and knowledgeable blockchain professional with a passion for creating innovative solutions in the space.
